I'm not really an aviation author like Widewing but I did manage to sell an article to Air & Space Smithsonian (http://www.airspacemag.com) which is being carried in the current issue.  If you have some time to kill check it out.  It's the Restoration: Fleet Model 8 piece.

Thanks for pointing that out.

There seems to be more and more aviation magazines that let you read the articles for free online.  I've ended my subscription to Flying Magazine amongst others in favor or just reading em online and paying nada!
