I know this question may have been asked at earlier date but do u have to be in a registered squad to fly in AvA..

I know dammm noobs (referring to myself) LOL

Not at all, just pop in. If nobody is there just hang out for a few minutes and someone will probably show up to give you a fight. Next thing you know you may attract a crowd.
