Title: Next Corvette = mid-ship?

I heard a rumor that the next generation  corvette will be MR layout.  I hope it stays just that.

I think they have toyed with mid-engine corvette designs since the early 70's.  I had a model of one I put together along time ago

That would have been a better 'Vette than what they did have. That's a cool lookin' ride.

A much superior ride... Too exclusive for most, of course, but being superior is part of it, no??

Not true.  They jsut realeased the '09 layout proto.  It's standard.  They are whining about the new MPG standards already and threatening to have to stop making Vettes.
