Spitfire shooting down a FW-190
Footage recently release from the private collection of an English war veteran. This film shows the destruction of a 'long-nose' German Focke-Wulf from January 1945. The pilot tries to evade, however has forgotten to jettison a center drop tank. This has deadly consequences when a shell penetrates the tank.
