I have found I can play MP3 files while flying in Aces High. I have tried this in warbirds but suffered a very significant hit to the frame rate. In Aces High, no noticable change. Now, if I can get my squaddies on RW with me, I can really sing for them. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I often just drop a music CD into the CD-drive and press play. I used to do with WB as well. No side effects I've noticed (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif).

Don't you guys know that it's a common sign of a dweeb to listen to music while flying? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Well, there might be one exception: Aces High by Iron Maiden. There's some "heavy" material, at least for spit pilots (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Interesting! Makes me wonder what everyone listens to...
Hangtime: "White Horse. If ya wanna ride the white horse...."
TT: "Now you're messin' with a, a son of a bi**h! Now you're messin' with a sonovabi**h...."
Mighty1: "Feelings, nothing more than feeeeeeelings...."
Kieren: "Another one bites the dust, another one bites the dust Hey! Hey!..."
Fishu: "You'll see me crying, crying, cryyyyyying over yoooouuuuuuu...."
All in fun! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
-
Is he singing the Roy Orbirson original, the Don McClean, or Kaydee Lang covers.
IMO "Crying" by Roy Orbirson is one of the best pieces of music ever written.
I would say that only "Drift Away" Doby Grey tops it.
"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am, Stuck in the middle with you, Stuck in the Middle with you" Steeler Wheels.

Dago, next time we're on RW I'm gonna plug the "line out" from FM tuner card into the mic jack for RW. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
-
Funked, I suggest you plug the line out from the soundcard into your Cassette tape recorder so you can tape my fine singing.
You can then enjoy the classic song stylings of Dago the wonder voice at all hours of the day. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I am sure Popeye will do it, cause he loves my singing. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

A song that makes me going is a song from THE EXPLOITED called apropietlly enough "BEAT THE BASTARDS(BEAT THEM NOW)"
Pumps me full of rage and amazing ability in ACM. Good for my kills, not good for my sticks, but hey... c ya.
-
I will have to dig up my old IM LP's (Still have some of those) to get Aces High on here!..hehe. I usually listen to `For Seeking Heat' and `Planes over the Skyline' by Swervedriver while flying, until I dig Aces High `the song' up.

Well, once you find Iron Maiden to be too
light music for your taste,
I suggest you try some quality music by
a Finnish band called Children Of Bodom.
Some might not like their style, perhaps
most, but I like it =)
The Kovenant, Rammstein and Powerman 5000
are also good bands. Anyone who's into metal,
I suggest you check these out =)

Funny how Kieren didn't finish his list of music he likes to listen to..He mentioned "Queen" but he didn't tell you about all his "Village People" albums.
He likes the Village People so much he was trying to get them to include his character to the group."The Lumberjack" (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Wish I had a camera for that one.
