It is problematic when the drones are left on the runway for enemy fighters to come in and straff.
I am sure I am not the only one who would like to rearm with their drones, MA or events. :)
This would be especially useful in Friday Squad Operations. :)

Dad,
are you mad that myself and the rest of the catters had a turkey shoot at A19 in our FM2s???
:D

Not at all. In fact I had a good night bagging 3 enemy fighters, two of yours before the fleet ack got me.
I would have done the same thing, but it did prompt me to post this request and it is something I have wanted for a long time.

I'd like to see the leash on drones fixed first. The dogfighting jabo buffs that never lose their drones are getting out of hand.

Indeed
Nice CoOp w/ ya SaX, your squad has a bunch of good guys in it.

Plz don't "squeak" or "n00k" or flame me for this, but what is wrong with being creative with a plane?
I'd like it if the drones took off in a realistic amount of runway, and could stay with the lead bomber in tighter level turns, especially at altitude, so that you could turn around to do another bombing run a bit faster (but not unrealistically fast)
BTW, do the planes which circle bases in offline mode use the same programming as the bomber drones?

Yes please. Allow the drones to follow or at least relaunch after a rearm instead of waiting on the runway for the first vulcher or providing ack star. Maybe launch after an engine restart?
-
One problem Yossarian is that the REAL aircraft had physical limitations at what angles the bombs could be released (for example, at too steep of an angle the bombs wouldn't clear the bomb bay, or be able to release under negative Gs, etc). BUFFs in the game DON'T have this limitation, which allows players to do things the aircraft literally wasn't CAPABLE of doing.

There is actually a good side to bombers staying on ground. After they stay on ground if you get shot down in the lead plane you get "teleported" back to the drones on ground , and you are free to land.

They blow up when you get too far out of range.

Actualy ont he ground they dont i was in the 1 fso final battle we bombing cv in ki-whatevers in formation and we missed on our first run re-armed took off in the first and when we died tring to dive bomb the cv we were sent back to the bombers on the ground:p

That, and while DEFENDING the CV from dive-bombing Peggies, I watched the lead plane gain as much at 5-6k distance from the drones and the drones didn't once pop.

No, they don't.

Let me ask this? Can you re'arm your lead bomber and then take off agains with your drones? I always thought you couldnt.
And I feel for these fighter jocks we shoot down who think bombers are to be automatic kills for them to pad their scores. Really, I feel for them. Poor things, always running home with their pants on fire.:lol

Yes you can rearm your lead bomber and take off again, but your drones just sit on the runway. They don't blow up at a certain distance when on the runway. They just sit there.
