Hey guys, I'm having a very odd view bug that appears to only be affecting me. I noticed it when I was trying to reset my head position views in fighters, but the bug affects any plane or vehicle I'm in. Basically what happens is I'm trying to set my look right and up view (holding PAD 5 & PAD 6 keys) and my look forward right and up view (holding PAD 5 & PAD 9 keys). When I do this and hit F10 to save the position it does nothing, it will work for every other view that I know of (or that matters) but this one, and it's becoming a pain in some fighters (like the F4U) where I can't move my view around obstructions. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
Thanks.

You can only hit so many keys at once. There are some bugs where certain keys don't like to be pressed in so many combinations. I think I heard it was a DirectX issue.
I got around it ages ago by using my hat on my joystick. Hit stick forward/right (for kp 9) and hit numpad5, move arrows, hit F10. The contortion trick is to hold on to the hat while holding on to numpad5, but it works. Same for pad6, use "hat right" and hit numpad 5.
After I got the hat, to tell the truth, I stopped using numpad almost entirely. The hat's just that much better. Hat + 1 button (for "up") bypasses the multiple key combos needed on the numpad.

turn off number lock this sometimes works.

I've got the exact same problem but it only happens in one view and only in the F4U's (all of them). I'm not 100% sure because I haven't flown an F4U in a while but I'm pretty sure it's the back/up/right view that I can't save.

I still have the problem but I worked around it by doing what Krusty said. I actually have the odd problem where the hat switch on my stick is blown out so I have to use the number pad to switch views. Anyway I mapped the look right key to a working, unused button on my stick, then in game I hold the button, hit the look up key and f10 and it works to save the position.
