INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups finely chopped almonds
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Stir in 1 egg and almond extract. Combine the salt and flour; stir into the sugar mixture with your hands until a smooth dough forms. Roll dough into log shaped pieces about 1/2 inch thick and 2 to 3 inches long. Dip each piece in the beaten eggs, then in remaining 1/2 cup sugar and then roll them in almonds. Place them 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

In colonial times a girl who got pregnant but didn't say who the father was were interrogated during labor by twelve women. The idea was that in the pains of birth she could not lie.
At least, I believe this was the subject at hand.

The reason your plane goes nose down when your horizontal stabiliser is shot off is because it balances the twisting moment of the wing, as the centre of lift usually sits behind the centre of gravity.

Any way,
The basics of photonic encryption, are that photons once looked at change there molecular structure. That being said, if 2 photonic excerpters are connected you cannot look at the data stream with out changing the lead and trailing photons. Those photons are the encryption key and the change would be noticed by the receiving encryptor, thus the entire data package would be dropped and a re transmission would then be requested by the receiving photonic encryptor.
Where this technology is working, it has a limited range of about 250 km. Once these photonic encryptors are better researched they could be a viable part of the Genie project.

Everyone here obviously suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Unable to take the time to carefully read what is written, it is thus much easier to simply blurt out the first reaction that one has.
It is just not you that has gone crazy. The entire world is now nuts.
We are all doomed. The END is obviously near.

The thing ahead sixty miles, do not miss.
Not for the squeamish or depressed,
Not for the unbelievers truly obsessed,
Something you just don't wanna miss.
It's the kind of place where space explorers could have landed around 1963;
When Kennedy was in Life Magazine,
And everything was aquamarine...
Aquamarine...

Popeye's Fried Chicken
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
3 cups Self-rising flour
1 cup Cornstarch
3 tablespoons Seasoned salt
2 tablespoons Paprika
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 package Italian Salad Dressing Mix -- Powder
1 package Onion Soup Mix -- (1 1/2 ounces)
1 package spaghetti sauce mix -- (1/2 ounce)
3 tablespoons Sugar
3 cups Corn flakes -- crush slightly
2 Eggs -- well beaten
1/4 cup Cold water
4 pounds Chicken -- cut up
Combine first 9 ingredients in large bowl. Put the cornflakes into another
bowl. Put eggs and water in a 3rd bowl. Put enough corn oil into a heavy
roomy skillet to fill it 1" deep. Get it HOT!
Grease a 9x12x2 baking pan. Set it aside. Preheat oven to 350~. Dip chicken pieces 1 piece at a time as follows:
1-Into dry coating mix.
2-Into egg and water mix.
3-Into corn flakes.
4-Briskly but briefly back into dry mix.
5-Drop into hot oil, skin-side-down and brown 3 to 4 minutes on medium high.
Turn and brown other side of each piece. Don't crowd pieces during frying. Place in prepared pan in single layer, skin-side-up. Seal in foil, on 3 sides only, leaving 1 side loose for steam to escape. Bake at 350~ for 35-40 minutes removing foil then to test tenderness of chicken.
Allow to bake uncovered 5 minutes longer to crisp the coating. Serves 4.
If you want hot & spicy Popeyes Chicken...add 1 T of Cayenne pepper to your flour, as well as 1/2 T garlic powder. If you like it really hot...add 2 T of Cayenne pepper.
If you just want it to taste "Cayjunny"..add 2 T of Cajun Spice (or Emeril's Bayou Blast")
Enjoy!

Robert Frost
Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

You know in the song "Your the One that I want" from grease?
The part where she says "meditate in my direction", listen to it again.
To me she is clearly saying "meditate my erection........feel your way". Apparently she is a cross dressing transvestite :D :rofl

I thought it was a case of selective perception and wishful thinking, but -- you're right, MW. No wonder everyone likes Grease so much.
-
Everyone I said that to never noticed it until I pointed it out.
I ruined many peoples perception of grease because of that :D
-
I think my youngest daughter (31) probably holds the record on number of times watched for the movie Grease.
