that looks a tad like a prop meteor?

Whirlwind came in early though. It was a design far ahead of its time.
The armament is great.
Would be like a mossy. ;)

Why? Not trying to bust your chops but the Typhoon more than makes up for it.
Wiki is a good place to start but search for better, more credible sources when requesting a plane.

Hurri IIb w/12x7.7mm?
Whirlwind would be interesting so long as it didn't turn into a HO-wagon.

I thought the Hurri IIb was 2 hispanos and 2 .50's (or maybe .303s)? The VVS lend-lease Hurricanes were 2 ShVAKs and 2 UBS, not sure if the British armament was the same.

IIb was 12 X .303s originally as far as I know.

Soviets often removed allied armament to use their own. This was a logistical as well as practical reason. They felt 2 cannon was enough, and by using their own, they could arm it with their own readily-available ammunition. They did this on many of their hurricane Mk.IIBs and Cs.
The RAF variants had 12x .303cal machine guns. Except when the bomb racks were used, one inner gun on each wing was not usable (the rack blocked the ejection chute or something).
The Whirlwind was plagued with engine problems. That's not an issue in this game (no engine problems), but it did almost negate the impact this plane had in the war. That is to say, it had almost no impact in the war. It was rarely used.
As for the HO-tards, well it's got 4x hispanos, but only 60 rounds per gun. It would go dry faster than a Hurr2C.

Yeah.. I meant I wasnt sure if the Soviets had replaced the British armament with the equivelent in their arsenal (i.e, the British armament was two Hispanos and two M2's).
