The R&R HoF committee is a lot like the Nobel committee. Jethro Tull has not made it in either.

Pity--those two bands particularly Tull---showed more talent in their respective bar-band days than Ma-potato-a showed in her whole career, and they didn't need a buncha black boxes to make their singing voices sound like something other than chit. Heck, most the guys in Tull were university-educated in their crafts

Roger Friedman, the 411 guy at Foxnews bashes these guys annually, and rightly so.
The R&RHOF is a big, expensive, lame tax rightoff for some uber snobs who have no clue. If you check out the Entertainment section of Foxnews, you'll find the 411. He nails them everytime they ready another "show". (He's also all over Michael Jackson and his kooky goings-ons)

Here is Johnny Rotton giving the finger to the R&R HoF establishment .

ATM I'm way too busy (lazy) to do the legwork. But if I may prevail upon those in the know.....
Does the H.o.F. pay much attention to the seminal bands that what I presume many current inductees came from? For example The Small Faces, Buffalo Springfield, Burrito Brothers etc.? Or is it more Elvis, Dylan, Hendrix, Madonna, yada, yada, yada?
Besides, didn't Madonna do Disco?

Neil young got in in '95, CSN got in in '97,along with Buffalo Springfield...No Gram Parsons, no Ronnie Wood (though the Stones and Rod Stewart are in.) Looks to be more the yada, yada, yada

No:
Yes
Genesis
Rush
Deep Purple
Jethro Tull
Chicago
These ALONE should be in the Hall. I went there in 1997 and did not like it. I thought the place charged too much for what they had to offer. I'll never go back after this BS. It seems like a "Big Boys Club".
Madonna getting in there before the bands I named above, is an absolute f**king joke! I gave up on Mellencamp when he "got political".
