Title: VF-31 Wing I & II clarification

I just wanted to clarify something as we have been getting e-mails about our two wings.

The VF-31 Tomcatters have not split, we are one squad & have decided to add another wing so that we may have more numbers that is all.  Joedog31 is still the CO I am the XO.

In HTC’s eye’s per the squad listing we are two different squads when in reality we are one squad.  So until HTC ups the numbers a squad can have we will have the two wings.

I hope this clears up any confusion as to why some of us show in our signatures “VF-31 Tomcatters Wing I” or “VF-31 Tomcatters Wing II”.  Although to help, we have asked that the squaddies remove this from their sig.

You aren't two wings, you are two separate squads.

Yeah, I wish didn’t have to write it but we had complications w/ people understanding the new change.

If theres any consolation here I always have enjoyed having two wings... Keeping them is the only problem:aok

I'm not 100% sure but i thought you could have 31 members . I think we have 27. Anyhow, Good luck with that TomCatters. I hope you keep growing and growing.

We should try to do a joint-op one night.

what good is 2 wings if there is no fuselage? ;)


btw  you do not necessarly have to put the Wing I  and Wing II in your squad name....we had 3 and at 1 time 4 different squads using the same name ......

so whenever anyone land they showed the same as everyone else and no difference ......not that it ever mattered.but it was done for the same reasons of you being hassled if your squad split or not.......
