The other day I was watching the classic "Piece of cake" movie.
One pilot is engulfed by flames due to petrol filing up the cockpit area....
I believe this happened often during the WWII.
With this game being AWESOME with some graphic details, why is it we don't see flames coming out of the cockpit dashboard ?
The pilot would have several seconds to bail out....
I remember seeing some thread about some players not "so crazy" about seeing blood splattered on the canopy... Ahhh well !
Any input why this couldn't be added ?

For one, it would require a change to the damage modeling so that the pilot can be killed by fire.

Since fire doesn't do anything in AH anyway, just alter the location at which fire appears, and add the same blackout effect as a PW, only much briefer. You get hit, you see fire immediately, then a second or 2 later you're blacked out and dead within 5.

there is one plane i think the pilot would die very quickly in which is the corshair that has only 1 fuel tank because the fuel tank is located right infront of the pilot above the engine right infront of the gunsight
