Anyone else notice that the minimum requirements for the game have been changed?
I wonder if a new update will be coming soon, it's around that time.
-
Gone way up, but it has been more intense on computers for some time now.
Although don't play anymore would be nice to have an update.
-
They've been changed not because of new updates coming, but because of old updates already introduced, is my guess. The min req's were far too low for a long time. The game has gone through MANY fps-guzzling updates over the years, and it was just time to re-evaluate the min req's.
My guess.

Honestly, I don't know how some of you guys can fly with the rigs you have. I pity you poor/cheap pilots :)

I've got the worst machine of anyone playing and I still get 25-35 fps most of the time (15-40 with an occasional dip to single digets in fog or around massive buff formations).
It's not that I'm cheap... divorce, move and crappy job amount to no money. Send some and I'll upgrade right away :)
The key is to keeping the machine very very clean. From reading the forums, my old clunker still out performs a lot of newer rigs.

Flying with those numbers for me would be like getting dental work done. Even though the game isn't graphically intense, its still pretty good for a MM Flight Sim and 1024 textures on a nice big screen and AA on is a treat.
Also, being able to alt-tab out as my in-flight entertainment without locking up is fun :) But I'm sure on your setup you're able to do that with ease.

Are you mocking someone for not having money to waste on a gaming rig?
-
i think he is.
mine is due for an upgrade but i too much of a cheap prettythang to spend the money.

I was barely on the line with the previous reqs :(
