Title: Speaking of Soldier Finder
Post by: midnight Target on December 21, 2007, 02:47:06 PM
I have my father-in-law's info (unit etc.) from WW2. Is there a site available to track a particular company?

Here's what I have:

F company, 2nd battalion, 9th marines, 3rd marine division

Most Divisions have an 'association.'  Those are good places to start. Also, check museums.  Most of the individual divisions in the Army have their own museum.  Don't know if the Marines have individual museums like that; great place to start though.

Also, looks like a good start here:
