Title: Missing files
Post by: mensa180 on December 25, 2007, 04:38:26 AM
When I go into my AHII folder and check under skins nothing is there.  No .res files or folders or anything.  Because of this I can't use the skin viewer.  Any help on how to get these files back?  I've reinstalled at least twice now, and it's still the same.

You cannot view any of the skins other than the default in skinviewer.  The in game skins are not kept in the skins directory in the format to view them for skinviwer.

First save the default skin from inside the hangar in game, 109G14 for example.  Right click to get the option.  Copy it somewhere outside of the skins directory and rename it "109G14_1 " then copy it back into the skin directory, then overwrite the overall skinfile with your bmp.  Then you select the 109g14 and you should have an option to view your's.

My issue is not with viewing my skins, I can't see ANY skins.  When I start the skin viewer, it is not automatically directed to where it should be.  I click browse, but can't find any .res files anywhere for it to show.  I can't see the defaults even.
