I was thinking of trying out the MA. I have a computer capable of playing the game at decent FPS. and the money for an account (Not too sure if dial-up can run the game well?)
Is their any deals you can get for paying for Aces High, and how can you pay for it?
And any hints and tips to help, or any manuals, plane stat websites, etc. i should look at.
And thank you. :D

How did you manage to miss all the info you're asking for with over 2000 posts? :lol
Stats and training info:
http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/
http://www.netaces.org
If you prepay ($14.95 @ month) 6 months in advance, you'll get one month free. At least HTC used to provide that deal.

I play on dial-up with no issues at all. Well, actually 1/2 speed dial-up. My computer is capable of 56K dial-up, but since the area I live in is farm country with crappy old phone lines, the phone company limits me to 28K dial-up.
I generally connect at 26.6K. I had to disable the "Data compression" boxes in my settings, and I do run on a second configuration with only 14 processes running while I play AH. The people I wing up with fly on more modern connections, but we're unable to detect any differences in performance.
Don't let the dial-up thing stop you...

Yah I've been dialup between AH and AW for 12 years...12...wasted....thats another story:cry

An other good site is http://members.shaw.ca/soda_p/models.htm Some of the info is a bit out-dated but don't let that stop you from looking at it. Also I run on Dial-Up and never seemed to have any problems.

Still waiting for Ma' Bell to boost us up to DSL. January, they say.
-
Hehe, we're "on the list for DSL" too, but the phone company won't even estimate a date for us. I don't see why really- with a mere 16-18 miles of cable they could serve 4 different houses, 2 of which have elderly residents who probably don't know what the internet is...
The good news is that I get unlimited internet time for $14 per month.

I Must say. It is a major wake-up call from the H2H environment im used too.
to all the pilots and squads on Bishops and Knights that i tagged along with, learning the MA ropes, and FUBAR'ing almost everything on the first day.
I must be honest, I think my cartoon pilot shat himself when flying the P-40B testing it out when the Mission of LA7's came into town (got owned).
So far the MA is fun and i think im addicted! :D
(Can anyone help find the parts of the plane i scattered all over A25 and surrounding area?) :(

Glad to help when I can, it comes far and few. :lol I can suggest the Zero, but if your looking for a speed-demon late war machine, this is not the plane for you.
