Title: celeb DUIs
Post by: Gunslinger on December 29, 2007, 07:12:13 PM
So it seems this is the popular trend for celebs these days.  Leave a club drunk and/or coked up and get pulled over.  Statistically when they finally get "caught" this wouldn't have been their first time doing such a thing.

My biggest question is this......If these people are loaded (financially speaking) WHY ARENT THEY TAKING A CAB OR A LIMO???????

Seriously if they have money they have no excuse.....they could have hired a driver for the night!

You are looking at this through the eyes of some one who uses logic, common sense, respect for the law, concern for others on the road, ect. Take away all of this and it will be perfectly clear why the rich and famous cant hire a driver.:huh

Wasn't another young TV chick just arrested for DUI this week?

Yea it was Micha Barton or something.  This all got brought on by what I heard on the radio tody.

They said that Nichole Richie spent a total of 82 minutes of her 4 day sentence for DUI conviction in jail.  The reason she was released early was because of overcrowding.

The radio station said:  "now the jails are overcrowded yet they let the skinniest girl in the world go free"?

Doesn't make much sense to me.  Lets just wait till one of these celebs kills a family on the road and see how much sympothy they are going to have.

the biggest injustice is why they are released when a normal joe wouldve spent the night in jail.

its sad that the money-laden are 'more equal' .

Warren Moon got busted here in Seattle early Friday morning for DUI, 2nd offense (on a suspended license) since April this year.  My Moon-signed Vikings cap is losing its value every DUI.:(

He's one of the radio commentators for the Seahawks, wonder if that's going to affect his post-football career?

I remember someone here defending Paris Hilton's super early release from jail, saying that was normal for everyone.  Good stuff.

Not calling a limo/cab isn't about money, it's about control and poor judgment.

Wasn't there a former Yankee who was drunk, ran a red light and killed a lady the other day?

Wonder how much time he'll serve, if any
