Title: Shhh... It's a Secret
Post by: Raptor on December 30, 2007, 04:53:51 PM: Rumor has it that there will be a top secret gathering of P38s on January 8th. Supposedly they will be meeting at 9pm EST in 474th attire. Apparently they are looking for Luftwaffe planes to shoot down. I have a feeling that they will be flying for the team with he lowest number of players.

Depends on who is involved and how much we've had to drink.
If Silat is around, we've learned not to let the bulb go out. You try being in the dark with him around!
On the other hand, it's taken us a good 30 minutes before to even realize the bulb was out, and that was when everyone was sober.

8th is a Tuesday, which is AHXRL (http://www.ahevents.org) race night. I guess you guys are safe from the cannons of my 190 A8, which will be my plane of the month next tour.

P38 Pilots begin gathering in the Late War arena around 8:45pm EST for a mission briefing.

Luftwaffe Pilots are advised to land prior to 9:00pm. P38s will lift off at that time and all aircraft bearing the iron cross are open game.

No, because our cannon rounds will obliterate most of your aircraft before it ever hits the ground.

I figure we'll need about four P-38s to build a single 109. A 190 will require a bit more.

Darn.

Guess I'll have to be extra skilled when hunting Lightnin' scalps.
