Title: IRTracker out of memory
Post by: daddog on December 30, 2007, 07:19:12 PM
I installed the IRTracker 4 Pro with the additional head set clip a few days ago and have had limited success with it. Currently I am noticing that it seems very choppy at times almost as if my frame rates are very low, but that is not the issue as often they are 40 to 60. While I was working on the settings outside of Aces High it became very choppy again (in the heads view) and then it seemed to lock up. Then a message came up "IRTracker out of memory". What would cause that? I have 1.5 gigs of memory currently.

Should I uninstall and reinstall it all over again. It has been pretty inconstant since I first installed it.

Have you got anything behind you that might reflect back towards the trackir pickup?

A mirror?  strong light?

What is your settings like?

I had to increase one of my settings to get trackir to work.

Had to lower the incoming light!

Took me awhile but finally gettin the problems worked out MAYBE LOL.

do you have anything else running in the background? do you have skins preload checked? Are you running the hirez pack? All of these things eat memory, and if you recently added software, or changed some settings it could be the culprit.

The angle may be off on your sensor.  It may be to bright in the room you play in.

Reflection other then your TrackIR equipment will through it off.

Are you wearing a shirt w/ a reflective txt or design?  I can't wear my Adidas soccer shirt when I play.

BTW  I LOVE MY TRACKIR :D

I can't afford the TrackIR, but I'm going to try building the "free track" one and see if I can make that work.

It seems like every time I start saving a little bit of money one of my kids colleges sends another bill! :O
