Title: Squad name question
Post by: RATTFINK on December 31, 2007, 12:42:31 PM
Is it possible to have the same name in two squads??

We really don't want to be called VF-31 Tomcatters Wing I & VF-31 Tomcatters Wing II anymore and would rather be the VF-31 Tomcatters in both.

Again, is this possible?

I say save your self the hassle of even splitting your squad into two wings until you really have to.

For your question I don't think the two names can be the exact same, you can just put a . on the end of one of them.

We are at that point :)

Yeah, I was thinking of adding " around the "Tomcatters"

We are well above our 32 members, within the next 6 months we may have to add another wing.....

We are on our third wing to accomodate players. There is basically no distinction in our squad who is A, B or C wing. It just doesn't matter. All is 71st. I couldn't tell you who is in what wing as we are all one squad the 71st. Same squad name different co/xo for wing.

Precision tried to split into 3 squads and it was a disaster.  It is hard to find everyone to get them into the same arena.  We tried to increase our numbers but it made everyone upset and we lost a few.  My recomendation is not to do it unless you have to.

That's what we are doin as well :)

P47Gra, we will eventually get XFire, Teamspeak or Ventrillo to stay connected.  So far so good though.  We seem to stay in communication.
