When more than 1 person share power a good portion of the time and energy the ruling 'group' spends 'governing' is focused on keeping or gaining more power rather than serving and governing their nation.

Hence, I always support a good king over a president.


At least we can chop a king's head if he butters up. A president merely gets replaced by another self-serving idiot and proceeds to get a nice pension and men in black suits to guard him.
