Forgive me if this is on the wrong forum but I am hoping to get maximum exposure of this guy for our lefties
One of our community members, Homeboy, converts the USB HOTAS for lefty use. He recently converted one for me and the finished product is fantastic. It is completely converted to lefty use and you can't tell the craftsmanship is not straight from the factory.
Homeboy charges very little for his considerable efforts and is a pleasure to work with. He only took a couple of days to complete mine and kept me posted all the way. For any lefties looking for more our of their sticks, contact Homeboy. He's a boon to the community. Thanks Homeboy!

I'm only guessing here, but "offol jop" might be "awful job". If it is he might not believe the the stick and throttle work wasn't really remade for a "lefty" but was "photo shopped" with photo studios.
In which case he'd be WRONG again !

I'm left handed, but strange enough, I do everything but write with my right hand. So I use a joystick with my right hand.

He is probably referring to the picture where he photoshopped the controls on to the picture of Cirrus S22 cockpit.
In either case, the comment was not called for.
It appears that splitatom is spewing himself all over the board with his god awful squeeky posts. Nothing worse than trying to read the crap that he writes.
When I now see his name next to a post ... I just skip over it. More than likely it really has no real content and trying to translate his "squeek" language only brings on a headache.
If he is an indication of the "next generation" ... then we are in serious trouble.

Ahhh I see. Well I have the actual product and can vouch for the excellent craftsmanship as well the fact that Homeboy is a stand-up guy to deal with.
I'm very pleased with the entirety of the transaction.

I think quoting hub is necessary here.
"Spey and neuter your kids."

He has inspired me to try to convert my old gameport CH Pro pedals to usb by canabalizing my siatek evo stick.

Oh and knowing you Steve I was really hoping this thread was gonna be about the other "lefties" hehe.
;)

Yes being left handed is also known to be signs of many things , but as a sheet metal man in my profession have had to learn to use my right hand for lots of things , including flying in AH , I'm afraid a left handed stick would only make me worse than I already am . But hats off to you for a darn fine job .

Did you know that a South Paw's life expectancy is 10 years lower than a right handed person? Mostly due to industrial type accidents.

Everything? Even when you meet Mrs. Palmer and her five daughters?
