I've been planning to cancel my subscription anyhow but this brought it a month earlier.

Tells you how smart the Dallas Morning News is.

Illegals aren't even Texans.

Duh.

I stayed in Texas for about two months this year, in a place called Baytown (30 miles or so from Houston).  Some parts of Texas reminded me more of San Miguel, Mexico than they did of the United States.

I read the article. It said illegals were a big force in Texas, it did not honor them. The article spoke of their effect on the economy here in Texas and the problems they created.

Might want to look at the whole article before unsubscribing.

Whats so funny about Baytown?  You wouldn't be laughing if you saw how much the guys at the refineries make.

I cut back to only Sundays a few years ago because I like the comics and ads but couldn't stomach their loony left slant on almost everything. They've been sympathizing with the illegals for some time now and besides, as DiabloTX said, illegals aren't Texans which is all I needed to read.

I've written the paper a few of times to complain about their bias. I cancelled for a few years. The last time I wrote I asked them if I could just get their ads and comics because the rest of their paper didn't even make good toilet paper.

And I thought the Aussies were funny when they selected a Scotsman to be Australian of the Year a couple years back.

Aw heck, when I was in Lackland AFB for Basic Training, I dont think any of the service folks (cafeteria, etc) knew any more english other than "Next Airman".

I keep meaning to visit Texas again (for a better reason  LOL)...

You needn't preach to me about the town I've lived in for 40 years.  If everyone in Baytown earned what the refinery workers made then why is the town a big ****hole?

And the refinery workers make that bread through the strong arm tactics of the local Union they are forced to joi...err, work for.

Just give it a couple of more years and we won't be Americans or Texans anymore. We'll be Texicans. You'll do okay with a handle like Diablo. I'm going to have to find out what the Spanish word for Shifty is though...

Relax Texans...in 5 years the whites will be minorities in Texas and you'll be eligible for all that pork the democrats give the minorities! ;)

Previous recipients included ... George W. Bush and Karl Rove.
They're obviously not very discriminating, why'd you wait until this year to cancel?

Read back a few posts and you'll see I didn't. I've been threatening to cancel every Sunday. Monday I will, permanently since I'm moving. I think they're going to lose enough subscribers over this to hurt 'em. Of course they'll blame it on the Internet or something else rather than admit to themselves that their bias is repugnant to so many.

Ok, I'll bite; How much do they make? Either yearly or hourly? If they do that much better than everyone else, then what's the deal?

You should direct that question to Aquashrimp.  He's "in the know".

Well, whomever can answer; It's a major part of the conversation, but no number came out.
