Post by: SteveBailey on January 06, 2008, 05:01:26 PM
I am in the Arizona server. i have a Flethcer class USN DD and it was sunk.  There is no option to repair it.(the repair button is not there!)  Is it permanently gone?

Edit:  I even selected auto repair in f10 fiedl and it is still sunk

How many credits' do you have, steve? Do you have enough to repair it?

BTW: What is your handle in NF?

Yes, i found the button thanks!  It's in a different area than in the nuetral part.

Here's my latest problem:  I have the ship repaired, hav money but it won't let me load ammo on the ship...   say no shells in A and B slots but when i buy ammo, clikc on Ok .. the ammo doesn't take.

I figured it out!  You cannot load heavy shells into box A

Click on the button that says 'ship' right above your force menu, and it will change to 'armament status'. Then, when you select the gun on the weapons' list, it will bring down the next menu for shell types. Then, when you select the shell type, it will bring down yet another mini-list, asking how many binds' of shells to load.Take as many as you can afford in weight/credits/space, then click 'set'.

You should be able to, but you'll be limited by: The amount of space you have left over in that mounting from the gun, the excess displacement you have, and money(if you are running short.)

By inflicting damage in battle, you get more based on things' like winning the battle, or staying till' it's all over.

I assume you can buy credits too with real money? That's how most "free" games companies earn a living.

Not really the credit's themselves, but all the neat little extras that improve your ship's abilities, and also Prem. accounts' that give you more credits' per game.

I played NF for a minute or two. It's just so hard to lvl up without paying for the game that I never found it worth dedicating much time.

The graphics and game play was just too dated and cartoonish for me. Too bad, the concept is intriguing.
