Anyone watching this right now? It's hilarious! Some pretty hard hitting going on too (at least with the men).

Why did they bring this back. It was ok in the 90s.
The made this show even cheesier than it was before.

Not sure which you are talking about but I saw an interview with one a couple of weeks ago and the first thought out of my head was.
"If this guy isnt a flamer. I dont know what is"
LMAO

because of the writers strike the networks are going to "reality" shows.
-
The shows were just as bad if not worse before the strike, so I cant tell a difference
-
Ditch the reality crap! Just run reruns of Chuck! :p
-
Why cant they run some of the classics
Car 54 where are you
Munsters
Dobie Gillis
3 stooges
Gong Show
Superman
And for the tonight show, just show Johnny Carson
and may many more that I cant remember.......
:cry
-
I'd like to see some Johnny Carson reruns. He was the man who made late night talk shows a hit.
-
I hope the Writers strike go on for another year or 2 to show classic reruns:aok

I`ll second that emotion. It also helped that he had the best straight man in the business.

i duno, i thought the show was pretty entertaining last night. watching people get absolutely brutalized is fun stuff. i'd like to see more events tho. some of the 'new' ones weren't that exciting.
plus i never remember watching someone tear an acl on the old ones. that made me wince.
the guy who was supposed to be on the show 14 years ago was classic. watching wolf toss him down the pyramid was hilarious
-
do they still run the eliminator at the end or have that one game with the gladiators shooting the tennis ball cannon at them? that one always seemed cool
-
they do both.
the eliminator is a little different. there is a pool with some fire you have to swim under now. one of the girls swam face first into one of the pipes around that part and cracked her face open so she finished the event with blood everywhere
with how gigantic bodybuilders are now the mismatches between the 'average joes' and the gladiators is crazy. my friends were all about this 'pro skateboarder' from cali who was 5'10" and 180lbs. he got smoked. ha ha ha.

I thought that "Wolf" character was Ben Stiller from Dodgeball!

I watched for maybe 20 minutes, just couldn't stomach anymore & switched over to MASH reruns.

lol, like the one where some of the doors are paper and some are wooden, that show is always great for a laugh
-
Gong show is still alive and kickin'. They took away the gong, shag carpet and changed the name.
It's called "America's Got Talent".....
:aok

My three year old nephew hits harder with his toy sword.
Love to see how long those pretty boys would last in a cage. And that would be against the promo girls.
