Title: Black Dots... And SlowDar

Last night during Titanic Tuesday I began to notice ghost dots that looked like far away cons but...were just dots hanging in mid air.  A squad mate of mine saw these as well.  I rebooted several times and still the same problem...  Also several in my squad noticed very erratic radar behavior on the clipboard map.

Is this because of the load of having so many people on Titanic Tuesday?

I see them as well.  I remember seeing them when we used to only have 1 arena as well.

the mystery black dots happen when there is more then 32 players in your immediate area .  it also happens when the arena is over 500 players sometimes .    it has to do with how the game tracks objects/players .

We (S.A.P.P.) were seeing the same thing.  Though it looked more like debris coming at the airplane.  I also noticed that it only appeared through the front of the cockpit.  At the time i am pretty sure that our small fight of 15 were the only ones in the sector where i first noticed it.

yea it looked like my wing leader's p51 was droping turds off his plane continously

i know it wasnt drop tanks but thats what it looked like a tracking error probably never noticed it before but there were a lot of phantom dots just out of range l

watch out for the UFO'S
