Title: AH2 not running

Upgraded computer, AH crashes on startup.  Heres dxdiag

EDIT - Works now. Forgot to install sound drivers

LOL All,

Meatwad, if it makes you feel better I read an article that said to delete your sound and test your game to see if that's an issue for pausing or freezing. Well guess what I discovered, Yep AHII won't run.

It says to delete your "sound PACK" not your sound on the computer !! Some guys when making sounds for the game will save a sound in the wrong format. When this sound is played (like a gear lower sound, or flap sound) i causes either a delay, or crash to desktop.

By removing the "Sounds" folder from the Aces High II folder you can test if it a sound PACK probelm.

The article I read wasn't related to AH. It was a general article. However, I could have misread it. It's been a while back.

Still though, what you have mentioned is worth noting Fugitive.
