Depends I guess on what side of the fense yer sitting on and what you think about as security.

The real question that needs' to be posed, Wrag, is how do our Canadian friends' to the north feel about this proposed 'North American Union.' The thing is, they don't immediately border a third-world country like we do. They've alway had us to their South.
And obviously, American border security is wanting, in so many aspects.

To tell you the truth.......
IMHO I think Canada and the U.S. have far more in common then Mexico and the U.S.
But IMHO the Canadian Government would probably have a REAL problem with accepting the 2nd Amendment?
Yet I think most Canadians would accept and appreciate the 2nd Amendment.

I'm not a canadian expert myself, but it seems to me that Canada is split into 4-5 separate distinct sections.
While 2-3 might not have a problem with the second ammendment, the rest would be adamant about not allowing any guns at all.
I'm all for a North American Union, provided that Canada and Mexico join on OUR terms. We can not make any concessions on the American freedoms.

Well as a Canadian I can tell you my thoughts on a "North American Union".
I am absolutely opposed.
In regards to your second amendment though, I would hazard a guess that most Canadians feel the same as you do in that regard. I would further say that, in my opinion, a great many Canadians are actually criminals for the simple reason that they own unregistered firearms. Our gun laws are a joke.
But like I said..a union? I think not. How about you keep your crap to yourselves and we'll keep our crap to ourselves. Other than that, feel free to visit once in a while, just bring beer and remember to turn the light out when you leave.

Opposed here as well. Not a Canadian but agree with you for the exact same reasons.

I think most canadians who don't live in craphole cities are just like most Americans who don't live in craphole cities.. they like guns.. all kinds and don't like someone who lives in craphole cities and who hates guns making the laws on guns.
