This must be so embarrassingly uncomfortable, especially having it front-and-center in a government debate, whether your names are withheld or NOT.

I just read the same thing on MSN and now the discussion on a Friday afternoon in the office is friggin wild. what would you do if you were playing the field with your girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/husband and then found out that you were brother/sister. THAT WOULD JUST SUCK!!!!!!

although its bad for them you have to wonder, just what were the odds, two twins, raised seperately, not only happened to become aquainted somehow, but decided to have a relationship and then get married... and I'm guessing they're not identical twins, or else wouldnt have people said "Hey you guys look like your related?"

Probably pretty tough for them to have a normal brother/sister relationship after being romantically engaged.

They we're raised separately and didn't know they we're siblings so it doesn't really fit the definition of taboo.
If they we're smart, they would have kept their mouths shut, sterilized one or both to avoid any potential damaged offspring, and went about their lives.

The details are missing but I get the impression that someone else knew and told them. Keeping it a secret may not have been an option. Kinda sad really.

Just think how bad it would have been if they found out after they had kids....

As long as they we're healthy, can't see it being _that_ bad.

Thats the thing though. When two closely related individuals have offspring, a lot of recessive traits can be brought out.
