Title: offline drones

It would be nice if there were at least 1 "drone" offline that was more "active" .. i.e. some thing to fight with..

Type "who wants to fight?" in the chat bar in the TA.

You'll have all the action you can handle.

well i know, but it would just be interesting to be able to do some 'tests" against an opponant that has the same skill level all the time..

i.e.


fought 109 drone 10k coalt-speed 5 times in jug using this tactic.. won 2 out of 5

fought 109 drone 10k coalt-speed 5 times in jug using this tactic.. won 4 out of 5

etc etc..

Agreed, even if it was some half bellybutton A.I. that turned circles, it would still be better, as you could practice snapshots, staying on their six, etc, with a moving drone.

And I would also wish that there is an option to turn on a regular fm, so that if you shot the wings off of a plane it would go down.  That way you get a sense of how much is needed to bring down an aircraft.

I think this is a great idea, as it would help not only newer players (e.g. me) who desperately need to improve their gunnery :o  and also for more experienced ones who want to get a bit of an edge in the MA when taking a certain type of shot (that last ones just a guess).   Also, those newer players could then be taught other things more easily in the TA once they've got decent gunnery.
