It might have that look like "vot parts do ve have left?" but i really like it.
-
It is certainly an interesting design. I'd be a little nervous sticking that thing though.... Prop flys off and takes half your face with it.
-
Looks like half of an FW 189.
-
Imagine being a young recruit in the Luftwaffe... you are told that you will be flying single engined aircraft.
You imagine taking on the might of the 8th AF in a brand new FW-190, or a ME-109 in an elite squadron of aces. You would make your parents so proud...
You turn a corner and see...

I think i would cry.

I think I would start looking for the guy flying the other half, and ask if he wanted to wing up.

When was the plane flown minke?
-
Funny thing about this plane as a kid it caught my eye some 35 years ago & it was the first model airplane kit I purchased. Many years later with a few friends we demolished all 80 or so planes that I had with slug guns in our own battle of Britain reinactment. It is interesting to me that it still catches the attention of people. http://www.geocities.com/asymmetrics/bv141.htm

OH MY GOD ITS REVOLTING!!!!!!!! lolz:rofl
-
it first flew in 1938.what was clever was the fact that the asymmetrical design countered the engine torque and they removed the starboard tail section to increase the gunners view.It had twice the range of the fw189,though the nazi's hated the bv's looks and went with the 189

There are many planes that are asymetrical beauties.... Most are from Burt Rutan...
This thing... Its an abomination. Its like a flying frankenstien.
No thanks....

I'd rather fly Rosie O' Donell then that thing!:O

i second not riding a blob that could eat all her adopted children in one bite....
-
Kind of reminds me of the monstrosity of a plane that Indiana Jones fought that big guy on in Raiders of the Lost Ark.....
-
That looks like the WWII equivilant of the A10 Warhog.
First impression is OMG that flys!
Second impression is OMG is that thing UGLY!
Indeed it looks like they were building something else and ran out of parts.
But hey, I'm all for new planes!
