So, I see the airstart info on the map, and I have heard Soda72 metion it before.

I cannot, however, seem to make it work.

From what I see, the airstart is from V31, launching SE to spawn you at sector 9.11.2.

1)  Although the mission board in the tower suggests that fighters and bombers are enabled at the V-field, they are not available in the hangar.

2)  It's a V-field!

3)  A SE spawn is not available, only an H spawn.

4) I tested launching SE from A23, and was on the runway as expected.

I have no information regarding the airstart for schitzel eaters other than what is on the map: V15 SW to 11.11.2.

This has become more important since the allies are getting squeezed awfully hard (think TrueKill + sheep) and some advantage for the last line of defense might help.

I don't know if I am just confused, or the airstart is other than advertised.

Not sure where/when I said that, but I don't think the current map has an airstart,  Easycor can confirm....

This map does have airstarts. I think OM was the one that said it was for bombers but no bombers are enabled from that field.

I hope that bomber airstart IS implemented here.  I r teh domder  g33k.  My flight time is limited in legnth on most days at the time any action occurs.  I have therefore given up most of my bomber runs in favor of quicker fighter sorties.  With the proper alt start, bombers become fortresses. :cool:

DOH. I forgot to add the aircraft to the bases.  We'll turn it on ONLY for bombers though. Expect to see it enabled some time today.

The airstarts (10k) are for bombers only. Click Hanger iirc.

Fighters will spawn in front of the Fighter Hangers and need to taxi out to the runway, which is tricky the first time.
