Title: D-40 Jug Skin

So, this is gonna be my next skin if I can find out some info on it. Does anyone know what group this ship belonged to? Also if it was a combat ship and if so, any pics or color info? The weird thing I noticed that makes me think it may have been a state side ship is the tail number painted on the underside of the wing and lack of hard points.

Wasn't/isn't that same plane in the Champlain Museum in Mesa?

Hmm, I think that is Col. Bob Baseler from the 325th FG, but IIRC that Jug was a stateside touring machine.

Yep, Stateside bird.  We've gone over this one before.  he was CO of a base in Texas at the time if memory serves
