OK, Found this story on the AP. I have been looking at it and there is something wrong with it. Not that it took so long for his family to ge the decorations, but something else stands out.
Do any of you see it?

I would think 'victim' isn't quite right.
'Serviceman'
'Fallen Soldier'
something other than 'victim'.

Talking with the rest of the Vets here "Victim" in not right.
Just bothered me alot. That would make me a US Military disabled victim.
Nope. Not me.

My father-in-law earned the Bronze Star in late 1944 after having dragged multiple wounded to saftey under extremely heavy fire as an army corpsman.
He just got the actual medal & display case last year.
