Tried but I don't think any normal plane is small enough. (except maybe the 163 as mentioned)
I've flown lots of planes through the VH though. It's kind of a ritual of mine in the AHXRL series. When I finish a race I normally do a few passes through the VH for fun.

I haven't had time to try these yet, but do you think that a Spit XVI, La-7, Yak or perhaps a P-40 could do that?
Also, does anyone happen to know approximately how big the vertical gap under a railway bridge is?

Yeah, i did it in a 163. Started at 12k at full throttle, dove straight down, started to compress, pulled back but still remained partially compressed, didn't think i was going to be able to pull out, but I got her level probably 10 feet off the ground. I was slightly off center so gave just a bit of rudder and made it through at around 600 mph.
The farmer called the base complaining because the chickens won't lay and the cows stopped giving milk. But he did get famous because a spider wrote "SunBat's a Badprettythang" in the barn doorway with her web (and yes, she did use dollar signs for the s's).
I had it all on film, including the spider web, but the file got corrupted when I was using my computer to pilot my very own Predator drone that I built in my garage. I don't know why it got corrupted. But it did, so I can't prove any of this.

Well, I got the quote from CoD4. When you die a quote comes up on the screen, and they are highly accurate quotes. So, my guess is yes :D .

Yes but can you fly through a hanger BACKWARDS?
And if you really want to prove your a hot jock try inverted backwards.

A 163 might make it. Would take some serious skill & luck though.

Yeap, done it before. Karaya did it first and then it kind of became something that just 'needed ' to be done. Wonder if a B25 will make it through?
