If HTC were ever to allow personal skins, instead of strictly historical ones, what would you fly?

One provision: Even if not a historical skin, it must still fit within the range of historicaly APPROPRIATE paint schemes (so no Richard Simmons La-7! :p ).

A variation on the paint scheme I envision for my squadron, with an insignia red cowl lip rather than white. Also shows my current FSO score (9 air-to-air victories, 2 ground objects destroyed). The fourth strip of gun tape has a historical basis: Some Marines faked additional armament by putting an extra piece of tape on the wing.

Still have some paint chipping to do on the fuselage, but overall fits the profile of a suitably battered and weathered island-based Hog.

Very weathered...looks like you restored it in a jungle and flew it out...lol

Thats a cool idea. Once Im done with my Krupinski G-2 skin (dont tell anyone....) Ill have to make one for myself. I like the FSO killboard, thats really cool!

I'd be in a Royal Purple A5 with yellow trim on the leading edge of everything. Would be awsome

AS per historicalish. It would be a a Grey Black camo and be yellow-orange checkers around the nose.

The advantage of having taken my game ID from the nose art of Corky Smith's P38G is I get to fly the one I would want to fly :)

EDIT: Now when i look at it again, it looks like a Jack Sparrow'd F4U :D

I made one for VonMessa after complaining about the stars on his M16 last night during FSO.
We didnt lose any tanks, but we *almost* lost Von in a friendly fire incident.
