Been a while since I've done a screenshot thread, so here we go!

After getting eliminated from FSO relatively early, VMF-251 decided to return to the Mains to get a little satisfaction. This is the most memorable action of the night (excluding the first attempt, which ended rather embarrassingly :rolleyes: ).

With a fifth member already in the area of the target due to....technical difficulties by four of us (I don't want to talk about it) four B-25Hs of VMF-251 roll out.

DeVice leaves his mark.

The town is down and troops are on their way, when DeVice spots a supply convoy incoming. Saxman gives the order: 251 take it out. Saxman begins the attack.

DeVice makes his pass.

A Low-flying Virtue gives these truckers the scare of their lives.

As Virtue scrapes the grass, DeVice makes another run.

Actually, I'd like to see convoys made into a more valuable target to add SOMETHING to the strategy side of the game. Interdicting this one was a big help because otherwise that town ack would have popped before we could get troops in.

I had fun there.  The convoy was coming into the town after we had it down so there was a certain element of "lets kill it" to the moment.  Was still a bit of a challenge to it you know, avoiding the terrain in those doggy B25s.  Would be nice if there was some degree of air defense to the AI convoy, and a higher payout in value destroyed.

A well executed strategic interdiction mission can have challenges all of it's own. :aok
Just because taking out the supply convoys to prevent resup of a town or base isn't your cup of tea doesn't make it less exciting for other folks.

at least they don't whine about not being able to fly their la7's because of ENY

See my post before yours. The site's bandwidth has been exceeded. I sent an e-mail to the host, but haven't heard from him for a while (ex-squaddie retired from Aces High).

So any images I have posted over there aren't loading.

I never realized the Bucs site was getting to be this popular. :D

if he had used smaller picture the band width might not have been used up so quick. :D
