Police say the three victims - a woman aged 22 from St Peters and two men aged 25 and 27 from Pennant Hills - were spraying graffiti in a stormwater drain on Moverly Road, Kingsford when they were swept more than a kilometre down the drain by a sudden torrent caused by a downpour.

Just a thought.....anyone ever seen the movie "Idiocracy"?  It's not a bad movie, kinda funny, but not great.

The basic premise is this.....500 years into the future the human race is dumb as all hell.  Basically the uneducated trailer trash gene pool tends to reproduce more than that of those of higher education.  Eventually intelligence and higher learning are a thing of the past.  

It's kinda opposite of the Darwin awards but a kind of scary example of how the dumb ones can outproduce the smart ones.

What really stands out here to me is the ages of the people involved.
Maybe at 12~15 or so you might expect someone to be in a storm drain graffitiing .....but 27? ffs, what's up with that?

Thanks to the wonders of modern medicine and warning labels this is happening as we speak. I give western civilization 40 years tops.
