Aloha,
You suggested I should get my speakers off the wall as in this pix-

My room is only 10' x 12' so I couldn't move them too far but the mounts have them about a foot away now and there is a noticable difference.  These mounts allow me to point the speakers exactly where I want them.  I know it's not perfect but the best I could come up with.  I used the same mounts on the side and rear surrounds placing them at the proper height,also. Thanks. :)

Nah, why would I want to watch pron on the 27" screen?;)
