The story Your about to read, is true. The names have been changed to protect the ignorant.
So im not an "uber" stick, not compared to some of the folks on here, but I dont suck either..
so im flying an FM2 because i miss my lawnmower and they sound similar.
Im at 12K heading towards an enemy base when I see a lone spit.. to my right,hes almost co-alt and climbing.. i start heading his direction and notice hes runway heading...
i slide in behind him notice its a spit16 and close in.. he does... nothing.. I figure hes AFK..
i get up to d400 and blow him apart with 4 50 calls of fury from my john deer.
o"you shot down tard #1"
im almost into my "safety buffer" of fuel (10 min) and noone else is around so I start heading back..
I get about 1/3
and check 6 as a matter of habit because I know a bad smell moves faster than my plane..
here comes a spit.. about 5000 below me and 5K out..
roll over and dive.. merging with him at 425ish spit16 again.. I pass under him avoiding the HO and climb straight up.. Im always leary of the spitcopter but this guy had NO speed.. and like I wanted he tries to follow.. me up and of course stalls and starts flopping all over the place.. I chop throttle and just float down to him and chop his wing off.. he spirals down firing the whole way

its the SAME GUY..
oh well, figures..
I continue home, now having only 5 min of fuel ..
Im almost to the runway, flaps, gear down... when suddenly i see the field ack start firing in my direction.. what a horrible feeling..
someone in range says "check the La nutt!"
BOOM!

i busted out laughing, apparently he upeed a La7 and hauled butt to try and catch me.. only to have the ack kill him trying to vulch me, giving me the prox.
im fixing to log when i see a white message..

Me: got what on film, you dieing? or you dieing 3 times?
NOW it is important to note.. I dont smack talk, you almost never see me on 200, I dont even tune to 200 actually i dont berate people via IM when they kill me.. such behavior confuses me frankly

Ok, so this guy just took up an spit 16 twice and a LA7.. and im the dweeb over here in my FM2
I squelched the guy, then logged to have a victory sandwich..
I just found it amusing figured I would share.

People routinely underestimate the FM2.
I used to fly the FM2 when we had fighter town (or whatever it was called).
Landing three kills got over 12 points.
It was especially fun killed La's.

Accually, i normally fly the P-47, but i find the FM-2 to accually be a fairly good plane, it turns pretty good, can take an ok beating, i dont see a problem with it

I'd say this feature is used , if my two or three months of experience is any indication, simply to abuse people who pwnt/killed you.

it is defiantly abused, but not always.
for example me and 3 squaddies bounced a lone LOW P40E the other day, and that guy gave us a HELL of a fight.. it really took all 3 of us to take him down, guy is ranked like.. 56 or something, cant recall his name.. but after we FINALLY got him, I had long talk with him he actually gave me some good pointers, explained how he was able to do what he did... probably learned more in 5 min talking to this guy then I learn in a week of just playing.. awesome experience..

amazing enough, i frequent both the jug and the fm2, got hooked on the fm2 in the AvA Midway scenario, and tried for kicks in the MA, turns out i landed 3 kills in "trial" mode....hmmmmm....this may be a nasty lil bugger.
t'was an awesome story nutt, will be more of its kind i would imagine
oh and to the grammar nazi.......... doos it bug ya when i dont speel rite nor use pruper grumar?

HAHA I hate the Grammar police, I read the entire story and noticed nothing wrong with it. I must be a grammar thief.
As far as the FM2 goes, it is ultra mega uber. I fly it a lot! It's super fast, packs A LOT of fire power, and can out climb everything (as long as gravity isn't a factor).
if you shot down 2 spixteennocopters and an Lgay...you must have been using an anti-dweeb hack. Shame on you.

I fly the FM2 a lot and one of the best compliments an FM2 pilot can get is when someone calls them or their plane ... "dweeb" ... after dealing out a good butt whoopin' on a true late war ride.

i think its really funny how once i started flying the fm2. every 1 seems to fly it. i have like 150 kills in it this tour.
i guess yall did listen to me when i said that was a BEAST of a plane. its awesome and most people think its 2 slow but once you get on some 1s 6. its hard for them to run.

i had an experence like that one time in a spit 8 over tank town i shot this guy down 3 times all the times flying a spit 16 i got half of my wing nailed off and i had an oil hit as i was heading back when this same guy come up on me in a lala he knocks the rst of my wing offi am going down when he colides with me and he does down so i have like 6 kills 4 of them the same guy after that he calls me a F@g through the pm in the main areana the fm2 isnot respected by noobs because they think it cant turn and because of of the 4 50 dont think it can shoot anything down

Did anyone else spend about 5 minutes trying to figure out where the periods, commas and caps should be? Damn, this is like a free game that came with the game.:lol

He manages to take off the rest of my wing and when I'm falling out of the sky he collides with me. He goes down before I do, so I am credited with the kill. This left me with 6 kills during this sortie, and 4 of them were on this same guy. Then he PMs and using derogatory language. The reason why the Fm2 is not respected by noobs is they underestimate the Fm2s turning ability and do not like the armament of 4 50 caliber M2 machine guns.
