New name same crap. Just like when it changed from the CT to the AvA. Changing the settings or the name doesn't change a damn thing, its just the same pointless furballing and chest thumping, now coupled with rewarded milkrunning and encouraged porking and vulching.
Have fun, I'm going back to the MA where at least they freely admit theres no point.

Somethings changed. Plenty of people in there having a good time with minimal griefing. Oh darn.

Cancelled my account for good this time, I've had it with this game. Not worth the annoyance, and too much of an investment in time and money for zero return.
Last time I left it was just temporary, but a week and a half back and I'm already fed up again, so this time I'm deleting everything and calling it quits completely.

Treize69, if you really would like to put this all into perspective, I suggest you go fly Warbirds for a few months. Then you can come and talk to us about a stagnant flight sim, staffed by people that really don't bother to even answer your posts on the BB, much less try out new ideas and settings in the arena for us.
It's ok for you to feel the way you do, but some of us know how good the grass really is here at HTC. Maybe you just need that break you speak of and can come back all refreashed with a better attitude.

Well your comparing AH2 with Warbirds, Treize and others are comparing AH2 with AH1. Granted the game itself has improved going from AH1 to AH2, but game PLAY has been going down hill for some time. From what I've read from your guys Lutrel, you guys like squad ops with planning, as close to "historic" as you can get. In the old days large missions with multi prong attacks were the norm in the main arena. My squad would even have timed out rendezvous at way points so the fighter could pork bases then re-up and meet the bombers to supply cover over enemy territory.
Now a days all we have is the gang rapes, spawn campers, and NOEs. No imagination, and no co-ordination. Just gamers gaming. You guys surly missed the best part of Aces High.

:lol Slash. You are right. Something has changed. In the old AvA there were some fights here and there and no excuse for ganging, picking or vulching. Not it has changed. The fights are gone, and people like you don't need an excuse to HO, gang, run, vulch etc.
The goal of the changes was not to make the AvA better. It was to bring in more people at all costs. You guys were successful. :aok Now finish it by changing the name to Mini MA or something.

I see this going down in a spiral fast; I suggest we stop putting each other down and let our bullets talk trash for us in the arena. I pledge to keep my squad conduct as honorable as to be expected while achieving our objectives and I'm sure that the other squads will do the same.

I get the assumption, you also recently came from Warbirds, with your above post....with that said.
please do not forget how some , coming from Warbirds ( A good number of players ), basically and shortly put, come in to the AvsA and said get over it we are staying and if you don't like it leave! "point blank"
regardless of how long others had been playing in the AvsA, or who enjoyed how the AvsA ( or older CT ) was before they got here!
as with everything in life , things change, but I guess none of the new comers could deal with what things were, how things were here, but instantly forced/complained/whined until some of the AvsA staff decided to make some happy and , to say the hell with the ones who currently participated in the AvsA......
I liked it before, I trid to have a go and just let it ride with the new comers and accept it for what it was, but what it "WAS" it will never be "AGAIN".......
and guess the over inflated whines of the influx of new comers, accusing the players that played in the AvsA on a regular basis had over inflated egos, were unaware that there egos would soon be deflated in the Aces High's Main Arenas and when they decided to bring their self made over inflated egos into the AvsA they found out that their over inflated mouthing, over ran their over inflated arses, and thus we now have another mini-ma...so all the new armchair lil gnerals can practice until they get good enough to go back to the big arenas ( the MA's) and put up a better fight and have a tad bid of confidence that they can hang with the Big MA Dawgs of Big Arm chair Generals in the Main Arenas.......
until then , the ganging, vulching, spawn camping, win the war, milkrun the undefended BS will continue until it dies back own and things just might, just might get back to where there is a tiny bit of respect for others, and people look for the fight, not the win the war.......

I once played a many different flight sims, I myself am guilty for wishing that some things were in this Sim, like they was in another sim..but the main thing is! This isn't Warbords, This isn't Fighter Ace and this damn sure isn't Air Warrior.........
why the hell can't people coming from another Sim to this Sim accept the way things are? ( as I said, I myself have been guilty of this when I first came to Aces High )
guess people need the points more than they need a good environment to find good fights....
and before any of you mention it, you can take your "This is not the DA, go to the DA!" comments and shove them where the sun don't shine..........I am sure the comments will fit that over inflated ego arse of yours......
to much change to soon, especially in gameplay will make people "change" their minds, which will change the faces of who is actually showing up and playing........the sad part is, it will not be anyone left to teach them anything except 5 vs 1, or don't fight, run and wait until the horde shows up........

Last time I checked the DA was still open:confused: Before the latest change, there were NEVER any fights or ANYTHING going on in AvA. Yes, this has been a major accomplishment for the arena. MA attitudes aren't going to go away by themselves. It takes good folks, like you, to be there and remind the newcomers to the arena that goals and rewards in the AvA arena ARE team oriented. (If you haven't been there in the last couple of days you should). Things are changing faster than I can say "dead a lot":D (sorry, I always thought that one was cute).
Worth the price of admission just to get the air starts, awards, rolling planesets, historical matchups, no eny or perk points, and the missing La7s and 262s. What else could you want in a "Mini MA" :rolleyes:
I respect you man, join our small squad and have a blast there. We are just starting and recruiting. (Trash talkers, Historical enthusiasts, Beer Drinkers, Hot Babes, Old Dirty Bastages like me, and Squeakers that we can squelch and send on errands are all preferred).:lol Did we miss anyone?

How did you see that coming? Maybe truth is more enlightening than the AH2 sun. I enjoy the DA as much as the next guy. I go there mainly to learn and have had some excellent times there.
Come to think of it, until AvA changes, the TA was one of the best experiences away from the MA, especially after the changes that have been made there. I am looking forward to the chance to participate in one of the training sessions that I heard about. I specifically asked JeepnAZ to consider a JUG session there hoping to see other JUG enthusiasts sharing in knowledge on fighter tactics, ACM, JABO missions, etc. I bet it is a hoot with damage enabled.
A Great Job in Both Arenas in my opinion.:aok
