Uboats are back for the next SH4 addon 25th Feb release date. Might be time for another video card upgrade as well... :cry

If your going to play SH4 highly recommend the Trigger Maru mod, many improvements including AI.

Well, hopefully my system will hold it out. I bought Q6600 and GF 8800GTS less than half a year ago.

Last I heard here on the BBS SH4 was a buggy piece of crap with no future support from the developers.  Has something changed?

They did release patch 1.4 which makes it playable. It was released quite recently.

Otherwise the release was a complete fiasco for a long time and I refused to buy it as it was. Being familiar with the buggy release history of the SH series I downloaded SH4 to try it first and that was a smart move - due to the bugs I didn't play it at all until 1.4, which after I was able to complete three missions without being riddled by unfixable bugs. However, there is still an annoying bug with the gun configurations that needs to be fixed manually if changed. I guess I could finally buy the game.

It was a buggy piece of crap and I've only loaded it again after 1.4 add Trigger Maru mod and it's very good.

I just can't believe how stunning the graphics are and progressed just in the last couple years.

I bought SH4 almost a year ago and was thoroughly impressed by the graphics.  However, the AI and gameplay (mainly campaign) bugs that persisted has made me not play it in 6 months.  However, I never tried the mods for it.  I will check it out.
