Title: bombing panzer

today i was in a panzer and JC3 dropped 2X1000 lbs bombs on me and a 500 lber, he said that he and a couple other guys in the area saw the bombs fall right on top of me, however that is not what i saw. but i thought it was a little strange my self because the 1000 lbers wernt more than like 3 meters away from me, shouldnt i have died? i just thought it was odd and wanted to make it known that this may be a bug.

Happened to me a couple of times the last few days, when i drop bombs from a A20.

Its not a direct hit but it looks like the panzer is standing in the crater.

I dont know whats up with this but it started to happen a couple days ago.

I was there when that happened and he was also getting the message
about invalid component and a kill msg saying kill # 0 twice on those drops.

i just figured it was the component glitch again.

There is a bug regarding panzers, where direct hits don't register. It has been fixed for the next release, apparently.

However, bug or not, you will not see shots and ordnance fall exactly where the other players see them, due to lag.

So what u r saying, is that if i see the bombcrater close or "at" the panzer, he dont see it that way?

I myself have gotten IVC when dropping from bombers {B24's}. Dont rember what kind of tanks thoo as im up 2 high to c icons. :mad:

abd just yesterday i thought this was odd. same situation, just i was bombing. i droped a single bomb, got the  kill, but it sed ICO, delayed and then i got kill, but if what hubson fire ses is true then it shouldnt happen anymore?

once again it happend last night dropped on a panzer @ a v base.was in a spit 8.eny was to high 4 a 16 panzer was hiddihg amoung fuel tanks i got them along with invalid object message. guess i'm going to have to record when i drop on then panzer's

does anyone know when they will fix the invalid componet zero it is realy anoying and sometime the tanks move

A guy in my squad had this on mon. He dropped 3k on a flak and it didnt die. They all landed dead on or very close to him
