I've seen threads on people asking if anyone is from here, or the one on "Where are the Canadian Pilots" (or something like that). So, now I'm wondering... How many people from Pennsylvania play AH2??
I live in NE PA, in Wyoming County. If you have Google Earth then look for Lovelton, because you won't find it on any plain map unless the entire map is of Wyoming :D .
-
I've driven through PA many times. That makes me a part-time resident:rofl
-
I live in NJ but I am rite across the river from Philly.Theres a good couple of people that play AH in this area that I know of.

-
ehhehe I am so close you prolly coulda just talked loud and I would hear yaI am in Mount Ephraim, its near Audubon,Haddon Heights if ya wanna look it up.Stang was in a hospital in Philly not long ago.I wanted to ring his neck for not givin me a hollar.I think he forgot that I lived nearby. And here I thought i was important to him:cry
Maybe in the future we can arrange a AH get together in Philly. As I mentioned there seems to be a lot of peeps in and around this area that play.

Ive been across PA like that twice. The first time I took a train.I was having heart surgery done in Cleavland. The second time was on a Bus.I was goin to Wright Patterson Air Force Base to meet up with some AW buddys.PA is a nice lookin state when ya get out there.I actualy enjoyed the scenery on both trips. When I got into Pittsburg it gave me the impression that someone just poured a whole lotta concrete into a bowel. It didnt seem like there was any grass or tress there.Just a big concrete slab with buildings on it.When I took the train ride I went over some bridges in Pittsburg that are suppose to be famous.I also went through this U shaped pass that was a big deal because of the height the rail road had to build up to to get trains through.

Some places here in PA you can buy the good ones as long as you can prove that you are not a resident of PA. I know for a fact that there is such a store north of Harrisburg on rt 15

We oughta consider a Philly get together some time.
I just recalled a bar in or around Philly. It was at a small airport. The bar was done up in WW1 flying style. When ya 1st walked in there were sand bags lining the walls.Inside there were propellers on the wall and pictures from WW1.This was some time ago early 90s.The place may not even be there anymore.I cant recall its name.

Sorry to bump the intent of this post - As for fireworks for PA residents, if your in the SE I refer everyone to Patriotic Fireworks in Maryland. Great selections (the real good stuff), and very affordable prices. I spend at least 2-300 every year and still have stuff left over for next year.
-
Still didn't answer my question. 1 day 'till I fly into Philly for a stop over. Do I go to Pat's or Genos''s?

I live 5 minutes from a fireworks factory that sells everything from firecrackers to 1 1/2 inch mortor shells! Last 4th of July we special ordered 3 3 inch motor shells :D . Of course we had to have a permit to get them and use them. It sure is fun to live so close to a firework factory. :t

They're across the street from each other. Try 'em both! (Geno's if you can only choose one.)
But if you want a really good cheesesteak go to the Happy Star food truck at Drexel University.

Oh...and Geno's. if those are yer only choices.
For pork, try Johns at Snyder and Weccacoe, get the pork with sharp provalone. Tony Lukes, at Front and Oregon (the stand, not the sports bar) is also quality stuff, steaks and pork. Sides (fries, rings, etc...) suck though. Shanks, at 10th and Catherine, does great chicken cutlet on a long roll with broc or spinach rabe.

Damm I to close to all u chumps, hehehe. J/K.
I went to Pennsylvania College of Technology for Tool and Die making up in williamsport back in the early 90's. I use to DJ alot of our party's on thurs and friday nights. I believe the houses we threw the party's at now are nonexistent now, lol. I remember having about 50+ people in a living room size room with beer spilling everywhere making the floor really wet, but what happen next was our biggest mistake, lol. I played the song Jump!. Well, everyone in the room started jumping and next u heard the main beam supporting the house Crack and the floor started to shake up and down. Never saw so many people move so fast from the basement where the floor started to cave in, lol. Trying to get everyone to start jumping was fun too. My DJ equipment was right in the hallyway of the room and it started to go with the floor. Let me tell u, the panic set in and I grabbing my equipment pulling it back further in the hallway. Luckily, everyone got out of the room without the floor totaling caving in. By the end of the week, the house was condemed, hehehehe. If I remember correctly, the House was called the Blue House (the Party House).
