Years ago we had a book that told every name and address on every street in our city......this book had the street name...then..the names of the people who live on those streets .....anyway if anyone knows where I could find this book let me know....Thanks!

You are probably thinking of the old "criss-cross" directories. I want to say they were printed by Hayes or Haines or some such. They were pretty costly if I recall correctly and as time went on the non-pub's and cell phone users started to make them obsolete. I haven't seen one since I left the lending biz years ago, no idea if they still print them.

Wasn`t so bad until they started using that slick paper for printing.
No more Sears catalog .
