Title: Brady and Moss Pull-out of Pro Bowl

I heard on the radio, omw to class this morning, that Randy Moss and Tom Brady both pulled out of the Pro Bowl today, claiming Ankle injurires...

Brady I could see, he got beat up pretty bad and was wearing a cast(boot) before the SB. You take a pounding from the best defensive line in the game and see if you want to play next week.


Moss, who knows, but you figure he would take the free trip to hawaii. His loss

I don't blame them one bit.  After going 18-0, breaking all the records they did, then losing it in the SB....can you imagine the grief the other players would give them?  I'd stay home too.

Romo had probably the biggest screw up in NFL playoff history. he still manned up and played the probowl. He held for FG snaps, too.

Moss and Brady. Classic front runners.

Much as I dont care for Moss. I have to say in his defence.
he typically does bow out of the pro bowl.
So this is nothing special.
and to be honest I cant really blame anyone who bows out playing in it.

Why risk injury in an endof the year game that doesnt mean anything?

I'm not suprised that Brady is bowing out, and I would do the same of I were him.  By all indications, the guy played in the super bowl banged up, and took an even worse beating during the game.  The only thing he cares about right now is recovery, and leading his team to the super bowl again next year.  Thats the point of being a player on an NFL team.  With his record breaking season, he has given football fans more than enough to cheer about, and I don't think missing the pro bowl is going to make too much of a difference.

 Your an Aggie? Man I wish I knew that sooner. It would have been fun to haze you over the Alamo Bowl. Now it is kind of pointless. However, it was a good game. For awhile there I thought the Aggies were going to pull one out. At least we didn't stick it to you like we did in 1999..24-0.

Well, we can both go back to beatings our teams put on opponents in the regular season and in bowl games in the past.  I'm glad Pappa Joe got his big win against us, was historical.  Admittedly, it seems to have been a long time since the Ags did it but I am not one that lives and dies with the Ags.  As long as they put forth 110% on the field and act like true sportsmen I am happy.  I've never been concerned with National Championships or anything like that.  Just as long as they beat the tea-sips.  TTU always seems to have our number.  I for one was happy to see Coach Fran go.  Never liked that hire to begin with.  Sherman I think will return the Ags to a true force to be reckoned with.
