a notch or two of flaps can surely help u get over the top in an immle in most planes, you might also use some trim to maximize your zoom so auto trim is not pulling you over on your back. as far as i know you need to be straight up and down and when i do it i cut throttle all the way to stop engine tourque then i kick right rudder slightly and hard left to flip the plane.
hammerhead should be done just before the stall i belive so you have air going agianst the rudder if you have no airspeed rudder wont do much i belive.
i could be wrong.:D
