On Sunday, Harry Landis died (http://www2.tbo.com/content/2008/feb/07/me-wwi-vet-had-famous-health-for-108-years/), leaving Frank Buckles (http://lcweb2.loc.gov/diglib/vhp/story/loc.natlib.afc2001001.01070/) as the last living veteran of WWI.

Last German vet died earlier this year too. I think New Year's.
