Title: Killing Convoys

I've seen in the instructions that you can take out supply convoys, but I never see or hear of anyone doing this.

Is it rather ineffective, or are there just funner things to pursue in the arenas?

It does slow the supply times some, but not a lot. If your hitting them for fun, have at it, if your hitting them to help in the war effort, your better off hitting the depots, if your hitting them for "points" your wasting your time.......points don't matter :D

The only time I will hit convoys is if:

1) I have ordnance left & there are no targets/cons that need to be hit

2) If it is real close to my squad getting troops into a base(I have seen the supply convoy pop Ack & hangars before)

Otherwise it is only a passing fun target to blow up.  Enjoy the explosions!

The depots the convoy spawns from? Is that a destroyable object. If so, how long does it stay down? Do convoys stop spawning if depot is destroyed?

I seem to be getting more and more newbed these days.....:lol

by "depot" I ment the factories. Fuel depot, grunt depot and so on.

The other day I wasnt having to good a day but I did have a P-47 run where I got a few kills and got away intact. OTW back I was having visions of my name in the Marqee with some kills when all of a sudden tracer rounds surrounded my jug.

                    On my way down in the chute I saw a little choo-choo train chugging by with a little choo-choo train ack shooting giving me the middle finger. I didnt even know we had little choo-choo trains that can kill you.

                   And from that moment on I swore I would murder every choo-choo train I see.:mad:

The trains supply the strat factories and run every 10-15 minutes.  The ack on them are accurate and deadly but there is only one on a flatbed car about mid-train.
