I'm in San Jose myself. I'd extend your Northern California definition a little furthur South, however. You at least want to include Monterey and Big Sur.

Hey, Humboldt! I live in Eureka. I've only seen one other Humboldt County player here online and he flies by the name Humboldt. I saw one guy in the forums once who was from Eureka, too, but have never seen him online. I believe his handle was something like Verm Ghost, or some such.
Who are the five players you know, Killz? I believe I've seen you online before.
-
3 of us play every nite WonkaVsn,grant316 and myself Killz. the other two play about once a week. Stubb, Bucknasty and Humstock. well that six. we always play as rooks and usally fly. hit me up some time id like to wing up and represnt humboldt . whats ur call sign?

I'm xtiger in the game and xtyger in the forums.
I'm on up to 3 different times each day, or at least usually each day. Usually between 8:30ish to 10ish in the morning, depending on whatever else I have going, an hour or so around or after lunch and often an hour or more later on.
I used to fly with the knights exclusively but around October of last year I started switching to whatever country has the least players when I log in. So, for instance, I was with Rooks last Friday in the morning and Bishops later in the day.
I check the roster first thing. If the teams are within one or two players in numbers, I'll often stick with whatever team I'm already with. If there's a five or ten man difference, I definitely go with whatever team has the fewest.
That helps even things out, eliminates most eny hassles and often gives you a lot more targets to shoot at.
I'll look for u guys up there.

the base is having some kind of birthday celebration tomorrow for BGen Yeager, I got lucky and was given a slot onthe bleachers for the ceremony. Lots of DVs and such will be here.
-
Sacramento here... Nice to see so many guys from the southern part of the NorthWest on AH. Southern California should be a separate State in my book! Grapevine should be the border!
-
That sounds awsome Jolly...I've only seen the man once at an air show in Grass Valley and a plack of him on the wall at the GV sportsman club where I shoot archery from time to time. He was going to fly a B-17 into Oroville airport one year, as we waited there, but he got off the plane in Sac...missed him again. hehe...hope some day I get the chance to shake the man's hand.
-
If you get to meet him. You will see he is a very nice and proud man.
